Photographs
I will be using a digital stills camera to take the photographs of my artist for my magazine pages. This will include medium and close up shots for front cover options and full length shots for both the contents page and two page spread.
Editing
I will be using a programme on the computer called Photoshop to edit my photos to make them look better. This will include changing the brightness of the images so they are not dull photographs also the contrast and hue. On photoshop I can also add effects for example black and white or sepia.
Creation
I will use a programme called InDesign to create my magazine pages. This allows me to bring the image ,that I will have edited in Photoshop, into InDesign and add text, shapes and other effects. Also this programme is helpful when I am creating my two page spread because I am able to get a template which sets my page up to look like a feature article page with columns etc.
