Front Cover
This is what how I want my front cover to be set out like. With the name of the magazine if the top left hand corner (like most magazines) and the featured artist in the middle of the page. Also there will be other cover stories around the outside to give the reader information of what is inside.
I have included the date, issue number and price in the top right hand corner. This is a typical convention of a music magazine.
Also i have included a barcode in the bottom right hand corner. Obviously this is needed so that the reader can buy the magazine.
Contents Page
This is my idea for my contents page, I want to use an image that I have take of Alex's guitar as the background and then have the cover stories, editors not and small image of alex on the left hand side.
Two Page Spread
This is how i will set out my two page spread. The feature article will go in the columns that I have drawn and two small images will be included on either side of the page.
I decided to put the artist's name at the top of the page to stand out to the audience. This also links to the 'Contents' title and the magazine title on the cover. Also next to 'Alex Johnson' I thought it would be a good idea to include thumbnail images across the top of Alex.
